A STRONG WIND ALERT PREVIOUSLY IN FORCE FOR VANUA LEVU WATERS, YASAWA
AND MAMANUCA WATERS, KORO SEA AND NORTHERN LAU WATERS IS NOW
CANCELLED.
Situation:
Tropical Depression TD03F lies to the northwest of Yasawa-i-rara and
gradually passing just north of Fiji. The associated trough with rain
bands expected to affect parts of the Fiji group till later Friday.
Forecast to 6am tomorrow for Fiji waters:
Southeasterly to northerly winds 15 to 20 knots.
Moderate to rough seas.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy falls and thunderstorms.
Further outlook: Southeasterly to northerly winds 15 to 20 knots.
