Situation: A weak trough of low pressure lies in the vicinity of the
group. Meanwhile, a moist northeasterly to northwesterly wind flow
prevails over the group.
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with brief showers over Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua,
Rakiraki, Macuata, Yasawa and Mamanuca group.
Fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms over Sigatoka-Korolevu, Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, southern Bua, Cakaudrove.
Mainly fine weather elsewhere.
Moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Thursday   : Mainly fine weather over most places.
Isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms over Viti
Levu and Vanua Levu.
Isolated heavy falls possible with thunderstorms.
Moderate north to northeasterly winds.
Winds becoming southeasterlies from later in the day.
