Situation:  A trough of low pressure lies jus to the west of the
group Associated cloud and showers affects the western parts of the
country. Another trough of low pressure lies to the east of the
country. Meanwhile, associated cloud and showers are expected to
affect parts of the group till the next few days.
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa, Mamanuca,
Western Viti Levu [Sigatoka-Nadi-Lautoka-Ba up to Tavua], Kadavu and
nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
Cloudy periods with some showers over the eastern half of Viti Levu
[from Serua/Namosi through Navua to Nausori, Tailevu, Naitasiri and 
Ra], Cakaudrove and southern Bua.
Isolated heavy falls expected.
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and
flood prone areas.
Moderate east to northeasterly winds, gusty during heavy falls and
thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.
Outlook for Wednesday  : Cloudy periods with some showers and
isolated thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls over eastern half of
Viti Levu [Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu, Naitasiri and
Ra], Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands,
Cakaudrove and southern Bua.
 Afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
Afternoon thunderstorms with heavy falls expected over Viti Levu and
Vanua Levu.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and
flood prone areas.
Moderate easterly winds, gusty during heavy falls and thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Cloudy periods with some showers.
Afternoon thunderstorms with heavy falls expected.
Outlook for Wednesday  : Cloudy periods with some showers and
isolated thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba :
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls. 
Outlook for Wednesday  : Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers
and thunderstorms with heavy falls.  

For Sigatoka/Coral Coast: 
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls.  
Outlook for Wednesday: Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers
and thunderstorms with heavy falls. 

For Tavua/Rakiraki: 
Cloudy periods with some showers over Rakiraki. Occasional showers
and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls elsewhere.
Outlook for Wednesday: Cloudy periods with some showers over
Rakiraki. Elsewhere, fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms. 

For Yasawa/Mamanuca group: 
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls.
Outlook for Wednesday: Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers
and thunderstorms.

For Labasa :
Partly cloudy, with afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
Localised heavy falls expected. 
Outlook for Wednesday  : Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers
and thunderstorms with heavy falls.

For Savusavu : Cloudy periods with some showers.
Afternoon thunderstorms with heavy falls expected.
Outlook for Wednesday  : Cloudy periods with some showers and
isolated thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls expected. 

For Lau/ Lomaiviti: 
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Outlook for Wednesday: Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated
thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls expected.   

For Kadavu: 
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Outlook for Wednesday: Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated
thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls expected.  

For Rotuma :
Situation: A trough of low pressure affects Rotuma. Associated cloud
and showers are expected to affect the island till later tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a moist easterly wind flow prevails over the island.

Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Showers easing later tomorrow. 
Moderate easterly winds.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Wednesday  : Cloudy periods with some showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
